About Ramsgate - Ramsgate is a seaside town on the Isle of Thanet in east Kent, England. It was one of the great English seaside towns of the 19th century and is a member of the ancient confederation of Cinque ports. Shopping - Ramsgate town centre is alive each Friday and Saturday as market stallholders vie with each other to sell their wares, and on the last Sunday morning of each month fresh local produce can be bought at Cliftonville Farmers Market, voted Kent Farmers Market of the Year. Visit Westwood Cross Shopping Centre which has a range of High Street favourites plus lots of cafes and bars to sit in and reflect on what you’ve bought.
