About King's Lynn - King's Lynn is an historic medieval port dating back to the 12th century, situated on the River Great Ouse. In medieval times, the Hanseatic merchants wanted an English base with many warehouses, and chose King's Lynn, where the leagues warehouse can still be seen today. Shopping - King's Lynn has a vibrant town centre to shop for your every need. In 2004, the town centre redevelopment, known as the Vancouver Quarter, was completed and has had a significant impact on the vibrancy of the town centre attracting more visitors and shoppers to the town.
