About Grays - Grays, next to the Thames near the Dartford crossing, and close to London and the M25. Most people come near here to shop at Lakeside, a very large shopping centre with a retail park. As well as the shops it also has cinema's and other entertainment's.
Shopping - Well of course our shopping tip would be to visit Lakeside. With over 250 stores within the shopping centre - and together with the retail park, it forms one of the largest shopping destinations in the UK. Lakeside is also a venue for international Darts Championships and was the subject of a TV documentary in the 1990s.

Things to do - Grays Beach with Britain's biggest play galleon, it's unique and lots of fun. There's an 18 hole adventure golf course, a children's driving school, skittles, hose hockey, air maze, pedal go-karts, zippy dipper and a balloon typhoon. Supervised water play area in Summer months. All this plus a Café, trees, grass and a promenade overlooking the Thames.
