building famous for its unique Octagon tower. Whilst in the Cathedral don’t miss the chance of visiting the Stained Glass Museum, housed in the South Triforium. Oliver Cromwell’s House is the only remaining home of Cromwell with the exception of Hampton Court Palace in London. The former Lord Protector, lived with his family in Ely for just over 10 years and the house has been transformed to give you an in sight into 17th century life.
